PTA Ysgol Glan Conwy

Our Aims

We aim to support the pupils and staff at Ysgol Glan Conwy by raising funds to help pay for extra resources that the school would not normally be able to afford. We also aim to subsidise many of the educational visits and excursions to make them more affordable and thus accessible to all pupils.

We are a happy band of parents, carers and friends who enjoy being an integral part of school life, creating activities and experiences for the pupils whilst also raising much-needed funds. We are always looking for new ideas and new friends to join us.
We extend a warm welcome to all.

Chairperson: - Mrs Sally Tawhai
Treasurer: - Mrs Clare Green
Secretary: - Mrs Stella Senior

Dear Fellow Parents/Guardians

My name is Sally and I am the current chair of the Ysgol Glan Conwy Parent Teacher Association (PTA). It has been some time since PTA has met formally, this has largely been due to COVID restrictions but thankfully there are now opportunities for us to meet and organise events and activities to help raise vital funds to support our school.

The PTA committee is currently formed of a small group of parents, and we are always keen for new volunteers to offer fundraising ideas, supports and advice.

If you would like to get involved in the PTA there is a What’s Ap group which you can join by following this link https://chat.whatsapp.com/L42qf85lhzHLv36kPpKUEy

By joining the What’s Ap group you are not committing to anything more than registering an interest it is entirely up to you how actively involved you want to be.

The PTA is a great way to meet new people, make friends and have some fun whilst supporting our community school to provide additional resources for our children.

We look forward to getting back in touch with PTA members old and new and getting to work on some new activities. All you need to do is join the What’s Ap group and we can take it from there.

Best Wishes,

Sally
